The Pastor
Suffragan Bishop Edgar C. Wilson was baptized at Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Kingston, Jamaica on January 23, 1953. He received the baptism of the Holy Ghost on August 7, 1960 and was ordained June 1967.
On December 10, 1960 he married Evangelist Dr. Nola Wilson and have been blessed with 5 children; 2 boys, Richard and Paul and 3 girls; Karen, Sharon, and Faith. They are all baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost.
In the Pastoral Capacity he served for 18 years as Assistant Pastor at Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Ottawa, Canada; 4 years as Pastor of Bethany Apostolic Church, Montreal, Canada; and is currently Pastor of CornerStone House of Refuge Apostolic Church, Ottawa, Canada since its inception in April 1992.
In addition, since 1960 he has at various times served as: Sunday School Superintendent, Young People’s National President, Church organist and Choir director, Director of Christian Education, New York and Canada Diocese, Founder and President of the CornerStone Academy of Biblical Studies, member of the Executive Board of the Canadian Apostolic Ministries, and Chairman Canada District Council, PAW.
He holds an earned Doctorate of Divinity-Suma Cum Lauda from the International University of Grace and Truth, U.S.A. He also holds the degree of Certified Professional Audits (1975).
